Kinderkrippe Mandelbaum Association
Kinderkrippe Mandelbaum is run by the Kinderkrippe Mandelbaum Association. A requirement for taking up a childcare place is membership of the association for parents (annual fee: CHF 50).
The association is represented by its board, which is made up predominantly of parents of children attending the nursery. The nursery manager is also an active member. This ensures that decisions are made in a practical and family-oriented way.
In addition, there is a service agreement with the childcare pool of the municipalities of Baden, Ennetbaden, Wettingen and Obersiggenthal. Parents who live in these municipalities benefit from subsidised childcare costs.
Our story
From Martinsberg to Mandelbaum
Our nursery was founded in 2000 under the name Kinderkrippe Martinsberg, in the district of the same name. Just four years later, we moved to our current address at Mellingerstrasse 29 — a location offering more space, more opportunities and, above all, more room for children.
With the change of location came a new name: Mandelbaum, symbolising growth, development and strong foundations. In 2011, we were able to rent two additional rooms in the same building, allowing us to expand from the original 12 childcare places to 22 today.
Since then, we have continued to grow in line with the needs of families, while remaining true to our core values: closeness, trust and quality.
